Farrow & Ball 2018 Colour Launch

Last week my favourite UK based paint and paper brand,

Farrow & Ball

launched 9 new colours, and along with a few other folk, I was lucky enough to get first glimpse.

I have long been a fan of Farrow & Ball, no-one else seems to have quite the same beautiful tones to their paint colours; rich in pigmentation, fitting in to any style of interior and also with the seemingly magical ability to change colour completely with the light.  Whenever I post an image of a room in my house on Instagram, at least one person asks me the name of the paint colour.  So to be invited to the launch was a real treat.

I was fascinated to learn about the process behind creating a new colour, and how it quite literally starts at the kitchen table, with paint filled ramekins that are mixed again and again.   The Farrow & Ball range of paints Is very carefully curated so it is essential each new colour fits and also works with existing colours to create overall room schemes.   The installations were quite spectacular and included a school room, library and even a tree house, but nothing quite beats a room setting when it comes to interiors inspiration, so I thought I would share the new colours here with you today.

You may have seen that we are currently redecorating our house, and don't tell my husband, but I have fallen for these colours so much I kind of want to repaint some of the rooms we have already done, oops!  Sadly, I don't think that will be allowed just quite yet, but at least there are a couple of rooms left to do.  It is going to be a tough choice, but I think my favourites are  Sulking Room Pink, School House White and Jitney.  How about yours?
