This morning I went on a lovely walk with Philippa Stanton, if you haven't heard of Philippa as her alter ego @5ftinf, then I would be pretty amazed, she is extremely well known on instagram (358,000 followers and rising) for the beautiful images that she creates every day on her kitchen table. You can read a previous post I wrote about Philippa here. As we strolled along, both of us picking up bits and bobs, it was really inspiring to get an insight into Philippa's knowledge and enthusiasm for her finds, I can't wait to see what she does with them and also hear the outcome of an investigation into an intriguing nut we found!
We were so busy chatting, that I only took a couple of photos.
I have no idea what this tree is, but I liked the strange flowers it had.
Not my usual subject, but I don't get to see horses that much living in a City, unless it is at a farm, and by farm, I mean a kids play park with a few animals! So it was quite a novelty to see some out and about in the real world.
Below are the bits I collected, I haven't even attempted to style them, I didn't want to be put to shame by Philippa's amazing talent, but I quite like them as they are, grouped together, the colours of autumn.
You might be interested to know that Philippa is running a workshop in November, from what she told me, it sounds like it will be a very inspiring day in a beautiful location, and I'm sure anyone who attends will learn a great deal. I'm very disappointed that I can't make it due to existing plans, fingers crossed she runs another one!
Philippa has also published a blog post about our walk and her findings, why don't you pop over to her blog and have a look at them, you will also get to see why I didn't even attempt to style mine!
Have a great week.
