My first seasonal visual story telling workshop of the year, focussing on the freshness and colour of Spring. Using what is available to create your own style, this workshop is for anyone who wants to improve their lifestyle photography and learn about visual story telling or just for those who want a lovely day out, and a bit of a play around with flowers, props and their cameras or phones.
Venue: My home in Brighton
Date: 15 March 2019
Time: 10.00 am to 3.00 pm
The day will cover styling and photography in 4 different areas:
Styling a table for a gathering
Flowers - together and with as much or as little instruction as you would like, we will create a seasonal flower arrangement, using foraged flowers where possible along with seasonal blooms. The arrangement will be yours to take home.
Still-life - We will use our floral arrangements or other items if you prefer, as the focal point for creating a still-life along with a selection of other props.
Gathering - together we will set up and style the table for a seasonal lunch, I will be offering tips and guidance along the way to create something beautiful and easy to recreate at home.
Home/Interiors - I will talk about and demonstrate ways to style your home for Spring, bringing nature in to create little vignettes and to help the space where you live align with the seasons and outdoors.
Throughout the day, we will be using our cameras or our phones to capture everything, and I will share my knowledge and give guidance in taking the best possible photos of your creations.
A healthy seasonal lunch will be included.
Spaces are limited.
